Chicago (May 18, 2012) – The Institute for Truth in Accounting has been awarded a grant from the Rauner Family Foundation.
The $50,000 grant will support the Institute's mission and ongoing projects. These projects include studies on the financial condition of state and local governments and the advancement of uniform statutory standards for government financial reporting. The grant will also support the ongoing development of the State Data Lab website, a new resource for public policy groups, journalists and interested citizens eager to use non-partisan data to develop solutions to America's fiscal crisis.

The Rauner Family Foundation is administered by Mr. Bruce Rauner, Chairman of GTCR Golder Rauner LLC and Mrs. Diana Rauner, President of the Ounce of Prevention Fund. Mr. Rauner serves on the boards of the Chicago Public Education Fund, Noble Network of Charter Schools, Ravinia Festival, New Schools for Chicago, and YMCA Metropolitan Chicago. Mrs. Rauner is chair of the Board of Trustees of National-Louis University and serves on the boards of Ounce of Prevention Fund, Kohl Children's Museum, Winnetka Alliance for Early Childhood, and Chicago Communities in Schools.
