Rich Cities, Poor Cities: How City Governments Make Your Life Better (or Worse)

Things are not always as they seem, and that’s certainly the case in cities across America, where a balanced budget can be as elusive as a pot of gold or as certain as the sun. On Monday, March 7, 2022, 11:00 CT,  Truth in Accounting's founder & CEO, Sheila Weinberg, will join in a discussion, where she will highlight the recent findings in the 2022 Financial State of the Cities report, with a special emphasis on several of North Carolina’s largest cities, like Greensboro, Raleigh, and Charlotte.

The discussion will also include Paige Terryberry, with the Better Cities Project to discuss the challenges and opportunities conservatives face when seeking to improve the financial health of cities across the country. John Locke Foundation's Senior Analyst for Fiscal Policy, Paige Terryberry, will provide North Carolina-centric expertise to the conversation as we consider the real-world application of these policies.
